Using the Socioecological Outcomes (SEO) Model, this webinar seeks to explore the experiences of student athletes in community college. Particularly, researchers reported on student athletes’ perceptions of themselves and the campus environment as related to transfer readiness and anticipated persistence.

Model Institutional Support Programs for Male Students of Color at Community Colleges
This webinar provides an overview of the development and use of the Community College Instructional Development Inventory (CC-IDI). Additionally, this webinar will help to identify key areas in need of professional development for community college instructional faculty. Implications for training and development will be discussed for faculty teaching in developmental education.
The purpose of this webinar was to identify community college faculty members’ culturally relevant teaching practices and strategies for men of color. The culturally relevant teaching practices and strategies were elicited from community college faculty members who were categorized as the Allies and the Choir due to their efforts to foster the success of men of color in the classroom.
Latino Men are more likely to enroll into public two-year colleges. Understanding their experiences in community college and post transfer are critical in understanding their success.
Early alert systems are used by colleges to intervene when student show signs of impending retention concerns. This webinar will overview different early alert models and provide recommendations on how to best structure systems to foster student success.
